This is awesome, I love it. The only problem I have is, that on my 1920x1200 laptop monitor (oneiric+gnome-shell+xorg-edgers) the diagonal stripes are very VERY intense, making any font on the desktop impossible to read. :( Practicality vs beauty, once again.

Would you think a non-striped-version of this would still manage to get the same 'mood' this one sets?
